The Fr. Arthur F. Smith Library & Media CenterCompleted in 2009, The Fr. Arthur F. Smith, O.S.A. Library and Media Center is home to over 42,000 books and other printed materials, current newspapers and magazines as well as college directories for use by students and faculty. Twenty newly installed computer workstations are available for student use. The entire library collection can be searched via the online catalog, which uses the Sagebrush/Winnebago Spectrum system. Students can use their student ID numbers to access several popular online databases, including CQ Research and Lexis-Nexis.
Open every school day from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM, the library serves students and faculty before, during and after school. Whether students are collaborating on a group project, researching their next writing assignment or just looking for a comfortable chair to sit and read, the library is a center of academic life at Austin Prep.
